New Blog beginning /11/4/2020
It’s hard to type what is going on in our country as we sit on this plane going to New York where we have to prove we’ve been “tested” to be able to get into the state. This came about on Saturday night 10/31, we rushed to an open medical facility on Sunday afternoon and here we are with our negative tests in hand and our unfathomable form to fill out before one of our states lets us in! Good Grief!
We’re flying today after watching the NON-election last night, still not knowing who the next four years are going to be in the hands of! The very idea that the Democrat party would put forth a 77 year old white man, noticeably having trouble verbally, and who somehow was the only man standing after a crowded field of candidates fell for lack of expertise and leadership! And now, this man might become the next president of these (un)united states? Good Grief!
I just don’t know what to make of it all. For the last 4 years, I have watched and listened in unbelief at the constant bombardment directed at the duly elected President, Donald Trump. He’s been villified in every conceivable way, yet found guilty of absolutely nothing. He was railed upon from the last election to inauguration day by a media bombardment of insinuations of cheating at the election; during the transition time, his team was met with obstacles and roadblocks for getting anything in readiness, as well as a “no, you’re not welcome at the White House.” His wife and young son were mocked and maligned worse than a state enemy would have been. Good Grief!
From inauguration day forward the demonstrations, vulgar beyond belief were kept up until they wore themselves out. Then, the fake dossier, then the phony Russian collusion, then impeachment in the 3rd year of his first term. Then, even while democrats were failing to get the impeachment proclaimed, in sneaks the Chinese with a Novel Virus, foisted upon us. President Trump immediately stopped travel to or from China and the “ne’er do well” now poised to become his successor cried out, “He’s xenophobic!” Others among the dems cried “there’s no danger from this new flu!” And within 4-5 weeks, as it crept into the lives of fellow Americans, the Democrats with their highly infected dominate media began to cry “why didn’t Trump do something!” He did a lot and saved countless lives because he paid little attention to those who knew nothing about it and listened to his medical staff, placing into a full speed ahead attempt to find the way out of it. Good Grief!
On and On it went for 1460 days, with a few more to come. In all my nearly four score years, I have never seen nor heard such vitriol! Such straight up hatred! I think if it were me, I would fight the crooks trying to steal this election until I won and had my day, then say “to hell with this country!” And resign to vice President Mike Pence. He’ll be a good president. President Trump has done more for every aspect of our diverse country than any other president ever has done,…and he did it in 3 years. Good Grief!

Now, here I sit, it is the 9th, and no complete resolution is made. Oh, sure, the press has declared the “ne’er do well” has won the thing! But, the protesting lawsuits of the Trump administration and the GOP continue to need to be settled, so who knows.
We have so much to learn from all these political things going on I don’t know how to start nor which is the most important aspect to speak of first. But, I think it is this. The manner in which the president took over the Republican nominating process 4 years ago told us things “OUT LOUD” that many of us knew all along—there was NO difference in the Democrats and Republicans when examined at their roots. None of the defeated candidates wanted Trump to win, and only a few when he actually did. The only “party” differences were the few policies and practices.
Such as abortion: the Democrats boldly said Roe v. Wade would not be allowed to be overturned! Republicans prated about with a platform which said we don’t believe in abortion! But, when they had the chance to overturn it, it never even once came up!
Or take the Obamacare weird deal—not one Republican would say it was a good deal (they knew the nation’s Republican voters didn’t like it), but when they had the majority in both houses given to them by Trump’s victory!, they never overturned it…barely getting rid of the hated penalty clause.
So, who we trying to kid? We who think Trump should be there for four more years are convinced more good things would come about. However, the probable action would have been about like the last four years and only some meaningful-but-small-in-stature items would have ever come about. More of the much better trade deals, perhaps; and more emphasis on low unemployment, low welfare numbers, higher wage and family earnings $$.
But, it is doubtful we would have ever gotten rid of the rottenness of our society or made very many turn to the only real hope in this world—The Lord Jesus Christ! It would be nice to have that four years with Trump in the White House to see if anything else would have come about, though, don’t you think? He really deserved it. (Hmm, that might explain his loss.)
